In light of the ongoing state-wide surge in the pandemic, the Arkansas Conference of the United Methodist Church (ARUMC) updated guidelines and released a new objective, county-specific, evaluation tool (provided by CovidActNow.org) to allow local churches to make an informed decision about in-person gatherings. Based on this data, Craighead County's "very dangerous number of new cases," and the spike in Covid-related deaths, Cornerstone UMC's Board of Trustees voted unanimously to suspend all in-person activities and close our office effective today through January 31. Our staff has been asked to work from home and to provide online only worship services. Please continue to pray for the health and well-being of our church and community.
