Our Children’s Ministry encourages exploration, development of faith, and discipleship for all birth through 6th grade. We have three specific ministry areas to serve the spiritual needs of our children. We love to have fun, and we love Jesus!
NURSERY CARE — Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., Wednesday evenings from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. (during Bible study and music practice), back right corner of the Sanctuary Building
Our nursery is fully staffed for worship services, Sunday school and Wednesday evening discipleship. Age appropriate activities are enjoyed by the children.
CHILDREN’S SUNDAY SCHOOL — Pre-K through 3rd grade — Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m., left wing of the Education Building
Our curriculum used for Sunday School is called Grow Kids and it is biblically based, fun and interactive. For more information or to volunteer*, contact us at familyminister@cornerstoneumc.net.
LINK — 4th-6th graders
LINK is a set apart ministry for our middle school/upper elementary age group.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT LIVE — Wednesday evenings (school year scheduling)
Wednesday Night Live provides an opportunity for our children to learn about God, but with a focus on growing in our faith. We serve a meal at 5:15 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall for everyone – Children, LINK, and youth. Following supper, children share a brief lesson, play games, sing, and make a project all centered around our theme for the night.
*All volunteers working with children/minors are required to complete a two-hour training course before becoming a part of our volunteer team. All paid staff are additionally required to pass a background check. We do this for the safety and peace-of-mind for everyone involved!
